May marks the one year anniversary of the Curious Cat Bakery’s first event ever. It’s a sentimental date for me because it was the first time I had hundreds of people — complete strangers, not friends or friends of friends — try my stuff and say they loved it. And then pay me actual money to get more of it.
Look at me, all bright eyed and bushy tailed!
I consider that first event to be the bakery’s debutante ball and to see how far it’s all come in a year is bonkers so I’m setting myself a challenge for the month of May to celebrate it and I want your help with it.
I want to make May the biggest month ever for the bakery.
It’s month #5 so I want to ship 555 salted chocolate chip cookies nationwide.
What do you say, can we do this? I think we can.
Just think of all the people across the country you’d like to send a gift to. All the people you wish you could visit but can’t or that annoying aunt who always calls your vegan food bird food. Send her some cookies and prove her wrong. Treat your cousins, your roommate from college, your grandparents, your coworkers, your ex neighbors, and your long distance bestie. If you want to include a note with the cookies, just write it in the “Special Instructions” box at checkout.
To make this even more fun, I’ve started a thermometer to track how close we are to our goal of 555. When that goal is met, I’m randomly choosing 5 people who ordered and giving them a copy of both my eBooks.
